It all started with a Bathroom

Years ago, when we owned our first home, my wife Julie had a vision for an update to our 1960s-era half bathroom. We did not have the budget to contract the work, so my free time was spent in a full renovation of our powder room. I discovered the satisfaction that I would get from a job well done – leading to a lifetime of transforming our homes.

Too many times, we have seen unreliable contractors, and have found shoddy workmanship requiring re-work. I could rarely bring myself to take a risk hiring out projects, because I knew I could do a better job myself.
